I don’t know about you guys, but this current Polar Vortex we’ve been having has NOT been ideal when it comes to the health of my skin and hair. Add to that, the fact that I live in Denver (aka the DRIEST place on earth), and the phrase “drying up like a prune” is a total understatement. Gross…..

Luckily, though, I have equipped myself with a pretty amazing arsenal of moisturizing beauty products this season. They have helped tremendously in getting me through these past few dry months! I honestly SWEAR by every single one of these products and would totally recommend them to anyone and everyone. They are THAT awesome. So without further ado…

This first product I literally can. not. live. without. right now! I occasionally like to switch up my facial moisturizers, but when it gets THIS dry out, Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost Water Gel is an absolute necessity in my life. It’s been my go-to daily moisturizer every winter since moving to Denver. I love, LOVE this product. You can pick it up at any drugstore!

Tied for first place with my favorite Neutrogena moisturizer, is this Lip Sleeping Mask by Laniege. You guys… for real, this stuff works!! It has been my newest/latest obsession. I put it on every night before bed and when I wake up in the morning, my lips feel nice and plump and moisturized. It’s been working miracles for me all winter long. Also, The Skinny Confidential swears by this stuff and she is totally my go-to gal when it comes to beauty product recommendations. I ordered mine from Amazon for just $13.00! You should all go snag one for yourselves!

Going along with Laniege’s lip sleeping mask, is this Lip Strip Smoothing Sugar Scrub by Laura Geller. I’m telling you, if you use both of these products together, prepare to have the smoothest lips of your life. I do my best to use this sugar scrub every single night (& sometimes every morning) as a part of my ‘before-bed’ nighttime routine. If you slather on the above lip sleeping mask after exfoliating with this product, the benefits will be 10x better, I promise!

Okay, so this Nordic Skin Peel by Skyn Iceland is another new discovery of mine, and it has quickly become one of my favorite beauty product MUST-HAVES! I got this as a gift from my mom for Christmas and now I simply cannot do without it. It reminds me a lot of the Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha-Beta Daily Peel Pads, which are amazing too, but almost double the price of this product. So, that’s a win-win in my book!

If you don’t know this already, I LOVE me a good face mask. Face masks of all kinds are my favorite thing. I do not discriminate. However, this Neutrogena Hydro Boost 100% Hydrogel Mask is quickly becoming one of my #1 go-to sheet masks. Using these on airplanes will do wonders for your skin, trust me. I am not ashamed to admit that I’ve used this on an airplane many, many times… And yes, every time I do, I scare the flight attendants. But hey, beauty can’t always be glamorous people, am I right?!?

Next up is this Moroccan Gold Series Treatment Mask. It came in my most recent FabFitFun Box and it’s safe to say that I am now in love with it. Along with my skin, my hair has been extremely affected by the Denver winter air. It’s naturally thin anyways, so it often breaks off and split-ends (made up my own verb) easily. Throw in the harsh, drying effects of the cold air though, and I basically have a brittle, frizzy mess on my hands. My hair needs all the help it can get when it comes to extra moisture. I like to use this product when I’m taking a bath and let it soak in as long as possible!

Exfoliating Shower Gloves… Need I say more? These are absolutely crucial for preventing dry, flaky & ashy skin. I strongly feel that everyone should own a pair of these. They are life-changing…. Sayonara washcloths!

I can always use a little help when it comes to having a nice, natural glow in the winter months. This Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer does the trick! It gives me an even, subtle glow that doesn’t look streaky at all. Even better, it doesn’t smell like tanning lotion! That’s a huge bonus in my book because I really can’t stand the smell of that stuff…

Okay, you guys… I got this Coconut Luminous Body Oil by Whish from my mom for Christmas, and OMG, does it smell AMAZING!! I like to use it right after I get out of the shower and I’ll mix it in with my Jergens Natural Glow Body Moisturizer for double the moisturizing effects!

I know, I know, this Dr. Dennis Gross Pro Facial Steamer is a bit pricey… but I promise you it is WELL worth the cost. If your skin is anywhere near as dry as mine, then you won’t regret this purchase. I love to use it after I’ve cleansed my face, but before I put on my Neutrogena Hydro Boost Moisturizer. That way, I feel like it really locks in any extra moisturizing benefits I get from using it. It’s also an incredibly relaxing way to wake up in the morning, just saying…

Okay, so I saved one of my very favorites for last, (well, second to last) and that is this Sky Organics 100% Grapeseed Oil. I am OBSESSED with this product, you guys. Yes, obsessed. Ever since I started using this product at night to take off my makeup, I’ve noticed a HUGE difference in the moisture level of my skin. Before using this, I was exfoliating my face every night and not realizing that it was stripping my face of all of the natural oils it needed. Now I exfoliate every other night, and I use this product on the nights that I do not exfoliate. It literally MELTS THE MAKEUP OFF YOUR FACE, you guys. After I’ve slathered it all over my face and neck, I’ll use a makeup remover wipe to wipe it all off. I found mine on Amazon for less than $12.00! Huge thank you/shout out to SweetTeaWithMadi for turning me on to this stuff!!

My last “product” isn’t actually a product, but it is definitely a MUST-HAVE when it comes to taking care of your skin and health in the wintertime. Drinking water and doing it as much as possible…. I’ve tried my best to make this a priority of mine every day, and it has made a huge difference and played a significant role in helping me combat the drying effects that I’ve been experiencing this winter.

Lastly, if I could recommend one FINAL winter beauty product must-have, it would be these Self-Tanning Drops by Isle of Paradise (I use the color medium). These things are like liquid gold, when it comes to self-tanning products. IMO, they outperform the rest of the competition, by far. Unfortunately, I am currently out of them, so I don’t have a picture to upload here, but I’ve linked the product above. It’s been sold out online at Sephora for what seems like forever, but as soon as it’s back in stock, I will definitely be snagging this up again!

And that’s all, folks! I hope you guys liked/enjoyed my recommendations and I hope that these product suggestions will be as beneficial for you guys as they have been for me! If you try out any of these products, please let me know what you think in the comments below! Any additional winter beauty product suggestions would also be much appreciated!!

XOXO, KENZIE
